A Hole and the Full Moon

I saw a deep hole today.
So deep that it'd take thousands of years before
A dropped pebble reaches to the bottom.
It's a hole I face
Time to time in my soul.

So dark. It looked very evil.
So deep. It seemed to devour
Anything exposed to it.

I saw a full moon tonight.
The fullest and the brightest
I'd seen in months.
Her light gently penetrated
Into the hole in my soul.

Actually it was not that deep.
Just deception of darkness
made it look bottomless.
Actually it was not evil.
It was just my soul's desire
To shed a light onto the long-ignored pain.

So I saw the hole
Because it wanted to be
Seen more clearly tonight
Under the gentle moon rays.
